I’m really glad you’re here.

If you’ve found your way to Kids Ministry Life, there’s a good chance you love Jesus, care deeply about kids and families, and are carrying more than most people see.

I know that feeling — because I’ve lived it.

God placed this calling on my heart at a young age, and for over 20 years He has been shaping me through kids and family ministry across churches, cultures, and seasons. I’ve served in full-time ministry, walked closely with leaders and volunteers, and learned what it truly looks like to love people well while remaining faithful to the call God has given us.

Along the way, He has equipped me through biblical training at the International Bible Institute of London, seasons of discipleship with YWAM, and leadership development through Propel Women with Christine Caine. Those seasons mattered deeply — but some of the most important lessons came in the middle of ordinary ministry days, difficult conversations, Sunday mornings, and moments when I wondered if I was doing enough or doing it right.

If I could sit down with my younger self over a cup of coffee, there are so many things I’d want to say.

I’d remind her that she doesn’t need to carry everything alone.
That faithfulness matters more than perfection.
That systems can serve people, not replace relationships.
That loving families well is just as important as running a great Sunday program.

Kids Ministry Life was created from that place.

It’s a collection of real insights from real kids ministry — things I wish I had known earlier, things I’ve learned the hard way, and things that have helped ministries grow in healthy, sustainable ways.

My prayer is that this space would be a blessing to you and to your ministry.

I also carry a deep passion for family discipleship — equipping parents and caregivers to disciple their children at home, not just in church. When families are supported and resourced, kids are formed in faith every day, not just on Sundays.
