Let me ask you something real for a moment…

What are the pain points in your kids ministry right now?

What feels heavy? What keeps you up at night? What makes you sigh before Sunday even starts? ( please comment below)


Because let’s be honest—kids ministry can feel lonely.

There are seasons where it feels like you are doing everything. One minute you’re the kids pastor, the next you’re the worship leader, teacher, snack lady, nurse, tech expert, cleaner, event coordinator, decorator, and emotional support human 😅

And most of it happens behind the scenes, quietly, faithfully… often unnoticed.





But I want you to hear this clearly:

God sees you.

He called you. He chose you. And He knew exactly what He was doing when He placed you in this role.

He saw your heart long before anyone saw your effort. He sees the love you have for the kids, the prayers you whisper, the moments you feel exhausted but still show up.

And here’s something so important to remember:

This kids ministry belongs to Him.

Those kids belong to Him.

And He cares for them even more than you do.

So if things feel heavy right now, I really want to encourage you—take it to God. Talk to Him about the weight, the frustration, the overwhelm, the questions. You were never meant to carry this alone.

Now let’s talk about something that can truly change everything.

The key to a thriving kids ministry is your team—not just paid staff, but your volunteers.

You were never called to do ministry by yourself. When you build a solid team around you—people you can trust, equip, and release—your workload becomes lighter, your ministry becomes healthier, and others get to grow in their calling too.


I know delegating is hard.

Sometimes it feels quicker and easier to just do it yourself.

Sometimes letting go feels risky.

Sometimes you think, “It’s just easier if I do it.”

But the truth is, when you don’t delegate, you don’t just carry too much, you also rob others of the chance to grow.


Invite people into the mission.

Share the vision.

Let them be part of what God is doing in your church and your community.

And trust me—people want that more than you think.

They are hungry for purpose. They want to belong. They want to serve something bigger than themselves.
